First remix using the open source Ardour DAW on the Linux platform.
All Midi is done within the program, with a loop created in hydrogen as well.
Whilst the software isn’t polished and the Midi side of things is rudimentary, it does sound very good, both the DSP quality and in particular the Midi engine which has a Linn 9000-style groove to it. I programmed a tom riff to show off this aspect.
